HONA's journey began amidst the uncertainty of the first lockdown, a time when COVID-19 turned lives upside down. Founders Michael and Charlotte faced unexpected career halts; Michael's role in marketing ended abruptly, and Charlotte's salon was forced to close. This pivotal moment led to the birth of HONA - a venture born from necessity, resilience, and the couple's combined expertise.

With no income, the duo were forced to pivot. Charlotte, a professional nail technician, began creating press-on nails for clients who still craved beauty in isolation. Michael, tapping into his business acumen, sourced materials and crafted unique nail art decals. This collaborative effort laid the foundation for HONA. What started with a simple pink donut decal soon evolved into a diverse range of nail art products, marking HONA's first steps into the nail care industry.

Our journey has seen significant milestones. From the launch of our innovative art gels, free from allergens like HEMA, HPMA, and IBOA, to moving into our first official workspace, each step marked HONA's expansion and commitment to innovation. Our hypoallergenic gel system's launch, a daring venture, paid off, selling out within 24 hours - a testament to our belief in safer, quality products.
